S&K Engineering and Research personnel provide Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) worldwide support for the Air Force Corrosion Prevention and Control Office (AFCPCO). This work ensures safety and mission readiness for air vehicles and support equipment, particularly those forward-deployed to support the Global War on Terror.
The objective is to reduce the cost and damage to assets from the use of improper materials processes or conflicting and outdated information, and to improve environmental compliance. Our broad support includes research and development, special studies, corrosion surveys, supporting conferences, managing a .mil website, updating technical orders, and subcontracting studies and analysis.
S&K Engineering and Research possesses well-regarded experts in corrosion mitigation and is able to assemble strong interdisciplinary teams comprised of research institutes, small businesses, and consultants to develop both tactical and strategic solutions for corrosion prevention and control.
