C-5 Airframe Teardown Research and Data Management

S&K Engineering and Research personnel provided engineering and program management support in executing an aircraft viability program for C-5 aircraft. The program supported continued environmental assessment, sustainment, and mission readiness of the fleet.

Specific tasks include coordinating the disassembly, inspection, and analysis of a retired C-5A aircraft (69-0004). S&K Engineering and Research compiled all testing results from component inspections for detailed evaluation and review by the program team members. The reports and findings are easily reviewed through an interactive, web-accessible database for ease of accurate reporting of findings.
