The Expandable Stinger and Rotary Stinger are revolutionary revegetation tools of which S&K Environmental holds exclusive rights. These tools fundamentally affect the economics of revegetation. They are faster and more efficient than hand or auger planting, thus minimizing our time on–site. The Stingers also increase the range of terrain that can be planted, including rip–rap, cobble, and steep road cuts. Successful planting of such areas by any other method is prohibitively expensive, and potentially dangerous.

Cuttings can be planted up to 4 feet deep and larger nursery plants can be used, both of which increase survival rate of the plants. This leads to a reduction in harvesting time. The Rotary Stinger plants 100 cubic inch plants at the same production rate as 10 experienced hand planters.
